Greetings

To all my family and friends, far and near~ thanks for checking out my blog! Mommy and Daddy are trying to keep up with my postings, but keeping up with me takes lots of time. I am growing and changing so much and we never know what a day may hold, but one thing will never change... God's love is unwavering and his providence is undeniable!

18 months in the making...

Hi fam and friends! On Tuesday I turned 1 1/2! How exciting- not that I did anything spectacular, but today was a big day! Mommy has always said that I was born with 10 long hairs right on the top of my head- and that was it! It has taken eighteen months to grow enough for a trim. I had a few random curls in the back that Mommy hated to see go, but they just looked a little dishevelled. So Mommy made it into a special occassion. I got a new booster seat and Mommy had mirror decorated with the alphabet all around it. I got my own pair of scissors and sat in the chair like a big boy. Mommy didn't cut all the curls off, just the stragglies at the bottom. Thanks, Daddy for entertaining me!

Clothes?

What do you mean I need a diaper? and clothes too? My new game is to run around in my birthday suit after bath time and laugh and play with mommy and daddy. I find any toy I can and see if they can catch it. I give them plenty of warning too, I can say "one, two, three... catch." I am repeating anything that is said, so be careful! I am loving elmo and big bird right now! I am eating pretty much everything and loving all of it- the more the better!I like drivng the cart at the grocery store and playing with all my friends at church. And I have used the potty a couple times, but don't know what all the fuss is about. My diaper works just fine! I am also getting a little upset when mommy and daddy want me to do something I don't want to do, but we are working on that. I had a very merry Christmas with all my family! I saw my first puppet show and that was the best ever! I had a special visit with my Auntie Jenn who has been living in Africa for the past year. In my own words... "Antie Jenn Ak Koo ka." I hope everyone is doing well and we'll be in touch!

Because Mommy is so silly

We just had to get a pitcture of this! The lady who does our laundry (and the dishes and the vacuuming... oh yeah, its Mommy) found that each of us had a similar shirt! So just because Mommy is so corny, she made us all take a picture. Enjoy the laugh!

These Shoes Were Made for Walking!

Guess what I can do? W-A-L-K. The day after I turned 11 months, I started pounding the pavement! Mommy thinks I must have been practicing when she wasn't looking, because I went pretty far on the first day! I've got some new shoes and I am ready to go~ All the Time! And I am trying lots of new foods. Watermelon is my favorite fruit, and I actually love spinach. But there are some really yummy things out there~ orange sherbert and raspberry sorbet! I know lots of new words, well I have always known them, they are just now coming out! Apple-Bubble-Tickle (that was my first word)- Owl-Cow-Up-Down -Bath-Please-Stinky and the list goes on! I'll be the big 1 in just a couple weeks. I think there is a big party planned! Here is a few pictures from our trip to Navarre Beach with Grandather and Nana
